Babelash Side Effects (HELP)

Our take

If you’ve been caught in the frustrating cycle of lash shedding, you’re not alone. After years of over-curling and mascara use, many find themselves battling thin, patchy lashes. Despite the initial success with Babelash's prostaglandin-free serum, the recurring periods of significant shedding can feel like a confidence killer. To break this cycle, consider going cold turkey on curling and mascara until your lashes fully regain their strength.

My lashes are of below average thickness and average length, and I used to over-curl them a lot for years until they finally started falling out. I used took time off from both mascara and curling (ultimately stopping curling altogether) to allow them to regrow. Once they did, I believe I got back into curling them briefly and made the same mistake again. After this time, I was done done for good with curling. I began using a lash serum (babelash prostaglandin free) in hopes of speeding up the regrowth process. It worked wonderfully, and I eventually stopped using it or used it more sporadically when I was happy with the length. However, I have noticed cycles of significant shedding every couple of months while using the serum consistently. Every time it happens, my lashes are left looking thin and patchy, and I am forced to stop using mascara altogether. How can I avoid this annoying cycle? Going cold turkey once they regrow again? Any other lash serum suggestions that don’t have this cyclical and very damaging shedding? It’s a real confidence killer and makes me feel very unfeminine.
