Ingrown hair help
Our take
Hello! If you're dealing with pesky ingrown hairs after waxing, you're not alone. Many experience this frustrating issue, especially when using roll-on wax. While your exfoliation routine with salt scrubs and gloves is a great start, adding a gentle chemical exfoliant might help, even for sensitive skin. Remember to stay hydrated with creams and oils post-waxing, as you’ve been doing. Since laser hair removal isn’t an option for you, let’s explore more effective home remedies to keep your skin smooth and irritation-free.
Hello! I started waxing my leg hair with roll on wax for a few months, but i started noticing a lot of ingrowns.
I exfoliate twice every week by default with salt scrubs and exfoliating gloves, and usually Wax the day after when i start to notice some growth, and after i use hydrating cream and coconut oil.
Unfortunately Laser hair removal is out of the picture, since my hair are quite light.
I'm quite scared to use chemical exfoliators because I have really sensitive skin, but if it might help my problem, i might try.
Also, sorry for bad english, and thanks in advance for the help!

This has absolutely broken any sense of comfort i had in my body i feel so disgusting and ugly, but i dont know how to get rid of them, theres no set 'cleansing routine' i follow pre and post waxing because ever since i started, which was like 3rd grade, this has never happened. is it my doing? am i going to the wrong waxing people? should i try epillating instead? (i do it for my face usually), or shaving? (never tried thinking hair would come out rough. i could really use any advice on how i can get rid of these spots, ingrown and bumpy hair, and the 2 hair in one sithc, please. submitted by /u/curiouscaterpillar44 [link] [comments]
- Looking for products that can help in reducing strawberry legsI’m facing ingrown hairs, and lately they’ve been increasing a lot. I honestly don’t know why. If anyone has used any product or method that helped reduce or get rid of them, please recommend it. They’ve really started affecting my confidence. Edit: I don’t shave my legs, I usually do Rica waxing. Currently, I use Bodywise 10% AHA scrub once or twice a week, Bodywise 5% lactic acid lotion daily after shower, and Bodywise 1% salicylic acid body wash on alternate days. Still not seeing much improvement though. submitted by /u/Solid_Ad4781 [link] [comments]
- Advise on hair removalI never had a problem with shaving my legs but it’s been an issue for more than a year now & it irritates my skin after I shave. I have tried exfoliation (with gloves & chemically) moisturizing, men razors, regular women razors, and single blade razors. And different types of shaving cream. I get super itchy and irritated . Should I just take the loss and just wax now? submitted by /u/Other_Resolve9026 [link] [comments]
