Is this a normal eyebrow lamination/tint?
Our take

| Got my first ever brow lamination/tint today and I am having a hard time liking them. First- I wasn’t really expecting a tint because I thought I just booked a lamination but I didn’t correct her when she mentioned it so I’ll take the L on that. But when I told her what I wanted (I asked if I needed a consultation and she said no to just show up) I asked for natural, feathered, following my natural eyebrow shape, clean girl aesthetic look and I showed pictures as well. Is this a lamination? My eyebrows look exactly the same to me just darker and waxed lol or am I just not fully knowledgeable on what a brow lamination is? She said my eyebrows just naturally go downwards when I mentioned it doesn’t look at all like the pictures I showed her. Overall? It’s so far from what I expected and I’m really disappointed and thinking about asking for a refund since I spent a lot of money on this and feel like I didn’t get a lamination? Please give me thoughts and opinions if this is normal or not lol thank you (These photos have been taken after I brushed them out a bit) [link] [comments] |

- Is this a botched brow lamination?I had my brows laminated and tinted last Thursday for the first time in years. They looked good when leaving the salon, aside from looking too thick which I blamed on the tint. Days laters the are unruly and sticking out. The also feel rough and I’ve noticed several brow hairs falling out. Since this is only my second time getting them laminated I can’t tell if this is normal or if they were over-processed. I reached out to the salon where I got them done and haven’t heard back. Am I overreacting or do they look not as they supposed to? submitted by /u/DarthKjersti [link] [comments]
- Brow tint/lamination help !Brow lamination/tint gone wrong - help! Before vs after (sorry for the zoom in hahah) Hi! I got my eyebrows laminated and tinted for the first time on Saturday. I love the lamination and shape but the tint turned my naturally darker ashy brows orange and lightened them…. They almost look bleached. I don’t know what to do. I’ve read posts about them being too dark and fading nicely but mine are TOO light and look terrible. Can I dye them myself with eyebrow dye?? Right now I’m just putting eyebrow gel on them to darken them to match my natural. Help !!! submitted by /u/maddggvvh00k [link] [comments]
- Brow lamination + wax + tint $185, is that normal?I’ve been really insecure about my eyebrows; my brow hairs are fine and sparse, and they don’t have a proper shape because I’ve never gotten them professionally threaded/waxed/shaped, etc. I was looking up ways to shape them myself at home, or laminate them to make them appear fuller/tamed. I came across a girl on TikTok who went viral, with the most perfectly shaped and laminated brows, and showed her “before” and they look exactly like my current brows; the service provider that she went to for her brows is literally 30 mins away from me, so I immediately booked an appointment for the same service for this Saturday. It’s a brow lamination, tint, & wax service, and it’s $185. Is that a normal price? Again, it’s my first time getting this done, so I’m not sure what’s normal for that service. I’m also in the Chicago suburbs area, if that helps with “average” prices here. Also, to anyone who’s gotten this service done, my 30th birthday is also on that same Saturday, and I have plans that evening (my appointment is around noon). Will I look crazy? Ugh, I’m nervous now lol I really appreciate any help y’all can provide. 😊 thanks!! submitted by /u/Prestigious_Life_145 [link] [comments]
