nails sore after getting done

Our take

Getting your nails done should feel like a pampering treat, but sore nails can throw a wrench in the fun. After a session with my lovely, budget-friendly nail tech, I found myself with a few tender spots on the actual nail—not the cuticles or sides. While her meticulous prep usually means quality work, I’m now contemplating how to soothe the soreness and safely remove them at home, especially since her designs are notoriously durable. Any tips for easing the pain and easing these beauties off?

i get my nails done by a girl at her home, she’s lovely and i’m always happy with my results and they’re cheap. she’s very thorough with her nail prep though and today while getting them done a few of my nails started hurting/feeling sore on the actual nail itself not the cuticle or skin or sides, the actual nail in the base/middle of it.

i didn’t say anything but now they’re still sore , i don’t want to go back for a removal when these grow out because she only files them off so i’m thinking about soaking off at home i’m just worried because her work holds up really well and doesn’t ever come off easy.

tips on how to soothe them and then remove please?? planning on taking a nail break after this set
