need tips for lip liner while using lip gloss!

Is there any better way to use lip gloss with lip liner? does anyone know any products or brands that are best with a gloss rather than a matte lip product? I have dry lips at times (i do have the ordinary lip exfoliator) but with matte my lips get super dry and i just overall hate the feel of a matte lippy.

my issue is that if i try to extend my lip liner downwards, throughout the day it kinda fades and pulls back into my actual lip line as a thin outline which just doesn’t look great. i have tried using powder before a lip liner but its still just over the course of the day. is this normal or is there any products i should be using to have my lip liner be more long lasting?

i also have wanted to look into lip stains but im not sure which ones are good and they’re quite expensive compared to just a liner, but im happy to take suggestions!
