Okay folks, how would you do a vampire makeup look with a colorful 80s/90s aesthetic?

Our take

Hey, fabulous friends! I’m conjuring up a last-minute costume for a comic expo this weekend, and I need your creative genius. Picture this: a vampire look infused with the vibrant, eclectic spirit of 80s and 90s Venice Beach. I’ve got a killer vintage windbreaker and some fierce fangs, but I want to avoid the Morticia Addams vibe. Instead, I’m aiming for a fun, colorful twist that channels the essence of a 90s vampire living her best life.

Hi all, I'm heading to a comic expo this weekend and I'm throwing together a very last minute costume idea. I want to incorporate an amazing vintage windbreaker I picked up a couple weeks ago, and basically make a "what if vampire was around on Venice Beach in the 90s?" kind of look. Very much inspired by Hailee Steinfeld's amazing 90s vampire look in Sinners, but brighter.

I have fangs and color contacts, I'm just trying to figure out how to merge 80s/90s makeup with a vampire look. I don't want to look like Morticia Addams just put on a colourful jacket and called it a day, I want to look like some woman in the 90s got turned into a vampire and then went on living her life.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I know I keep flipping between whether this is an 80s or 90s look and I guess it's because I don't exactly know where this falls myself.
