hello, I need advice, I have a ingrown hair issue,
shaving, nair, veet, waxing, does not matter, get very angry ingrown hairs at first and over time the hairs will literally just grow visibly underneath the layer of skin, it might be foliculitus, it might be something else, IDK, but I'm looking for post hair removal skin help.
I'm blonde of you say laser I'm ignoring you, not everyone gets to enjoy laser.
currently I shower nightly and use a men's body wash and am considering changing products so any advice is welcome

- Horrid influx of ingrown hair post waxinghi! f18 here, just like the title says, i got waxed after around 4/5 ish months last month, and my previous waxing exp was also really bad- led to bumpy hair in my calves area, and ingorwn hair in my inner thighs, but this time it was actually SO bad, i have bumpy hair growing all over my legs and my inner thighs now have spots from previous ingrown hair and more just seem to keep coming, in my arms theres nothing wrong but i also have 2 hairs coming from one area in y legs and pits. This has absolutely broken any sense of comfort i had in my body i feel so disgusting and ugly, but i dont know how to get rid of them, theres no set 'cleansing routine' i follow pre and post waxing because ever since i started, which was like 3rd grade, this has never happened. is it my doing? am i going to the wrong waxing people? should i try epillating instead? (i do it for my face usually), or shaving? (never tried thinking hair would come out rough. i could really use any advice on how i can get rid of these spots, ingrown and bumpy hair, and the 2 hair in one sithc, please. submitted by /u/curiouscaterpillar44 [link] [comments]
- Advise on hair removalI never had a problem with shaving my legs but it’s been an issue for more than a year now & it irritates my skin after I shave. I have tried exfoliation (with gloves & chemically) moisturizing, men razors, regular women razors, and single blade razors. And different types of shaving cream. I get super itchy and irritated . Should I just take the loss and just wax now? submitted by /u/Other_Resolve9026 [link] [comments]
- I get ingrown hairs and red bumps whenever I shave, no matter what I do!I'm hate having body hair anywhere on my body. And since I'm a guy it always come in so thick and its annoying me. I mainly get bumps and such on my legs and butt primarily which causes me massive dysphoria. I've TRIED everything recommended to avoid bumpy skin after shaving but nothing works!! I exfoliate everytime I shave and shower, I use SA cleanser 2 times a day, I moisturize my skin after shaving with lotion, I use a new razor everytime I shave, I wear loose pants, I clean my bedsheets weekly, I wipe every surface I sit on daily with antibacterial sprays. And I STILL GET BUMPS, ACNE AND INGROWN HAIRS!! its getting to the point where I genuinely just want to chop my lower half off, I just want smooth and clear skin! Does anybody have any advice to help? Because Im going mad😭 submitted by /u/JB_07 [link] [comments]
- Shaving rash on legsHello alll, wondering if anyone had any advice. Since christmas ive been using an IPL device and its great! I started because waxing intimately just wasnt working for me with ingrowns etc. Thats all fixing now BUT the problem, you have to use it twice a week, which also means shaving twice a week. Everywhere but my legs can handle it. My legs have always been a bit strawberry but since im shaving so much now the razor burn/ingrowns are awful I use shaving cream or conditioner; a mens razor and a glycolic body wash. Any help? submitted by /u/Frosty_Break_8585 [link] [comments]
