Seeking advice or product recs for fine lines and dehydrated skin
Our take
Hey there! It sounds like you’re on a journey to fabulous skin, and trust me, you’re not alone in feeling overwhelmed by all the options out there. Fine lines and dehydration can creep up on anyone, especially when your skincare routine is as simple as a dove bar soap and Cerave moisturizer. Fear not! There are some game-changing products that can hydrate your skin while keeping your acne-prone concerns in check.
Hi! Im 25F and I am absolutely clueless when it comes to skincare. I use dove gentle bar soap as my cleanser and cerave moisturizer.
Anyways, I am starting to get very fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead. I really don’t want to get into Botox yet because I think my skin is just super dehydrated. So, I’m looking for some holy grail product recommendations! I also do have acne prone skin when trying new products.
Any recommendations to add to my routine?

- How do you treat dehydration lines on your face and is there one product that works?I have a bunch of lines on my face, mostly around my cheeks. I thought they were wrinkles and I was freaking out that I suddenly was getting older. They weren't in your normal areas where you see wrinkles. They weren't as deep or crow's feet so I wasn't sure what was going on. I saw some videos and posts with similar problem and I found out they're likely dehydration lines. I definitely drink plenty of water so that isn't the issue. I tried using Cerave moisturizer and so far it hasn't done anything. I'm not very familiar with beauty products but it sounds like something with a hyloraunic acid serum. I'm just curious because this is the first time I've dealt with this and I have no clue about beauty products. submitted by /u/youlikemywonton [link] [comments]
- skin care help!!hiya divas! i'm a 23 year old who is struggling to find the right skin-care routine. i have dry skin and fairly large pores. i'm prone to acne breakouts as well, though it isn't bad enough for me to use acne products just a couple here and there. i'm currently using Cerave face wash and moisturizer, along with The Ordinary niacinamide serum, plus a hydrating toner and using a glycolic acid toner twice a week. my skin is better, but the pores and a few wrinkles around my eyes are bothering me really badly. any suggestions for a glass skin look? bonus for anyone who can give me a good hydrating primer that's cheap, my makeup is always cakey i swear submitted by /u/CurrentAggressive466 [link] [comments]
- Help! 24yo with "mature" undereyes (super dry, deep lines, and texture)Hey everyone! I’m in desperate need of some undereye help. I’m only 24, but my undereye skin is incredibly finicky. No matter what I do, it looks **dry, textured, and I have deep lines (plus fine lines)** that everything seems to settle into. **My current routine:** **Prep:** I use moisturizer and a hydrating eye cream. **Correction:** I color-correct my dark circles before concealer. Even with prep, most concealers end up looking "cakey" or emphasizing the texture I have. I’m looking for something with decent coverage (to hide the darkness) but minimal creasing that won't make my undereyes look 10 years older. I’m currently eyeing **Natasha Denona, Haus Labs, and Tower 28.** Has anyone with similar "dry/textured/lined" eyes tried these? Which one would you recommend? Also, if you have a "holy grail" application tip for deep lines, please share! Thank you! ❤️ submitted by /u/beayaaaaa [link] [comments]
- 25 and my skin looks ROUGH, help!!Hi! I am a 25F with skin that shouldn't look as bad as it does. Wrinkles on my forehead, lots of texture, and dark spots from acne. My skin is hard to read in terms of oily vs dry but it is acne prone and definitely can get dry at times and oily at other times. Right now, this has been my night routine for a few months. It hasn't been great in eliminating lines, spots or texture but my skin has felt more hydrated. - Round lab foam cleanser - Anua peach toner - Prescription tret - Cetaphil daily moisturizing lotion for dry sensitive skin I am ashamed to admit it but in the morning I usually just throw on SPF 50 and call it good. I have been doing some research but I am getting kinda overwhelmed with all the info I am getting. Would these be better routines to match my needs? Do any of these products interact? Night: - Ma:nyo pure cleansing oil - Vanicream cleanser - Byoma milky toner - Prescription tret/The Ordinary Azelaic acid suspension 10% cream, alternating every other day - Avene Cicalfate protective cream Morning: - Vanicream cleanser - Byoma milky toner - SPF moisturizer submitted by /u/ranch518 [link] [comments]
