Skincare Advice

Our take

Hey there! If oily skin and visible pores are cramping your style, you're definitely not alone. Tackling blackheads and whiteheads can feel like a never-ending battle, especially when your skin tint just won't cooperate. You’re already on the right track with COSRX and Skinlab, but let’s explore how to refine your routine. Retinol might seem daunting, but it could be a game-changer for pore appearance. Let’s dive into product recommendations and tips that can help you achieve that smooth, glam finish you’re after!

Hello! I have oily skin and I’m very prone to blackheads and whiteheads. My main concern is my pores, they look super visible (I know it’s normal, but sometimes it can still be really bothersome 😭). Even when I wear skin tint or makeup, they’re still noticeable.

I’m currently using COSRX Salicylic Acid Pore Cleanser, Skinlab Tomato Toner, and Moisturizer, but I’m not really seeing any improvement with my pores. I’m not acne-prone (thankfully), so my main issues are really oiliness and pore appearance.

Do you have any product recommendations or routine tips that worked for you in minimizing pores and controlling oil?

I’m also thinking of trying retinol, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary for my concerns or if it might be too much. Do you think it would help, or should I focus on other product first?

Any advice or experiences would really help. Thank you so much in advance!! 🤍
