Teeth whitening
Our take
Teeth whitening can be a game-changer for your smile, but managing expectations is key. After visiting the dentist, you might feel surprised to learn that you can only achieve 1 to 1.5 shades lighter instead of the 3-4 shades you had hoped for. It’s completely understandable to seek a second opinion if the results don’t align with your vision. Consulting another professional could provide you with different options or techniques that may better suit your whitening goals. Your dream smile is worth exploring!
Went to a dentist today to ask for teeth whitening and then asked how much shades lighter will be my teeth and she said “ 1 to 1.5 “ which kinda shocked me because i thought it would give me 3-4 shades lighter. Should i consult someone else?

- Teeth WhiteningWent to the dentist and he said i will be needing 2 sessions ( 3 rounds of in office treatment of 8 mins in one session) . My initial shade of front teeth were 2R1 and after one session they became 2M but thats not what i want . He said i will be needing 2 more sessions to actually reach 1M , i am really disappointed, i mean not disappointed at the dentist or something but there’s this guy that i have a date scheduled in a month and wanted to look better for him, i am scared that i will never reach the actual white teeth ( i dont mean pearly white or like celebs) Edit: i want A1 shade submitted by /u/Aggressive-Light-365 [link] [comments]
- Teeth whiteningDid my first session of teeth whitening, it was little sensitive but it was ok overall, nothing too much. My teeth got one shade lighter, but i wanted them uniform like all of them in one shade but they are not. Even from before, my canines were more yellow than front teeth , i thought they would get uniform, i have two more sessions pending Edit: can i ask my dentist to not to whiten my front teeth as i am happy with them but focus on other teeth submitted by /u/Aggressive-Light-365 [link] [comments]
