Trying skincare for the first time

Our take

Hey there! If you're stepping into the skincare world for the first time, you’re not alone. With just soap and water as your go-to, it’s exciting that you’re ready to explore more options for your skin. After seeking advice from ChatGPT, you received a tailored recommendation for products like a salicylic acid cleanser, retinoid, niacinamide, and a lightweight moisturizer, plus the sunscreen you already love. However, the media suggests a simpler routine. Let’s navigate the best approach for your sensitive skin without breaking the bank!

heya!! so I've never had a skincare routine before, the only thing i wash my face with is soap and water since that is the only thing i could afford. Since i've saved up a little, and i think my skin is getting textured- i chose to ask the next best thing since i couldn't afford a dermatologist- Chatgpt. i sent it picture of my skin and it told me i had mild-moderate skin texture and recommended me Salicylic acid cleanser, retinoid, niacinimide, light weight mosturizer and a sunscreen (i already wear sunscreen).

But after my research on the media, They say you only need a cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen. I have sensitive skin and need recommendations on what to do, esp since i have limited savings <//3 pls tell me what is the best option makeup gurus it would be appreciated!!
