What cut should I get?

Our take

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm ready to shake things up with my hair and move beyond my usual straight, blunt cut. With fine and thin hair, my current style just weighs me down, leaving it flat. I’m aiming for a fresh look that adds volume and movement, ideally suited for my soft oval face with a touch of roundness. I’m considering options like long layers, a butterfly cut, or curtain bangs.

What cut should I get?

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m finally looking to switch up my hair. I’ve always stuck to a basic straight, blunt cut (as you can see in the pic), but because my hair is fine and thin, the length weighs it down and makes it fall flat. I really want to try something different that will give me some much-needed volume and movement.

A few details:

Face shape: Soft oval with a slight roundness to it.

Current routine: I currently don't style my hair at all (total wash-and-go), but I want to start using a blowout brush after this haircut to help give it that bouncy look.

Goal: Volume and texture

What hairstyles or specific cuts would you recommend for my hair type and face shape? Would something like long layers, a butterfly cut, or curtain bangs work well to frame a softer, rounder oval face?

Any photo references or tips for a blowout brush beginner would be amazing. Thanks in advance!
