What hair care products would you choose?
Our take

| Hey all! I have natural dark blonde hair (medium to long length), and lately it’s been feeling quite dry. I think it’s partly from using John Frieda Go Blonder hairspray, and also because the water where I live is high in calcium (hard water). My main goal is to restore moisture and shine. Right now I’m using Ouai shampoo for clarifying one time per 1-2 weeks, but I’m looking to update my everyday hair routine. I’d love recommendations for: - A good shampoo + conditioner (hydrating but not too heavy) - A leave-in product (or two) - A reliable heat protectant (Maybe leave-in product and heat protectant can be 2 in 1) I thought of some products already, so maybe some of you had experience with them. But if you’ve used anything that worked well for similar hair, I’d really appreciate your suggestions! Thanks so much 😊 [link] [comments] |

- does anyone have recommendations on products for my straight but dry hair?My hair is very long but my ends aren't that healthy and it thinned out over time due to stress and all. I usually oil it once a week because I only wash it once a week (I've noticed it keeps my hair nicer) and I want to start using a product to make it nice and straight. It is naturally straight but because it's so dry, my hair keeps having random split ends that stick out (idk how to explain it, almost like frizz) it's not very silky. I want healthy hair without chopping it, any recs?? Also, when I go to get my haircut they blowdry it and its so nice and silky and bouncy, I've asked what products they use and she's never too clear about it so I can't tell. Whenever I do blowouts myself it turns out the same looks wise, but it def isn't silky and smooth like they do at the salon. - If needed, I could attach photos of what my hair looks like versus how I want it to look like submitted by /u/Unlucky_Page_4850 [link] [comments]
- Plz help a sister gal outThis is my hair in the morning after going to sleep with it wet/ full of leave on conditioner. I use Odele moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and I think it smells fab and does decent with my hair texture -compared to- everything else. It "deflates" through the course of the day but it's still dry, poofy, non silly, falling weird . My texture is changing maybe due to aging and I'm growing out a bob. It's like it wants to curly or at least wave sooo badly, but can't. I live in a dry desert area with hard water. Literally willing to trying anything like dip it in a bowl of bottled water or something lol submitted by /u/mcomcomco99 [link] [comments]
- Can y'all please help me find a shampoo and conditioner that's affordable and fits my needsI've been using the Dove shampoo and conditioner, but it makes the dyed parts of my hair dry, and it’s been causing me major hair sheading to the point my drain gets completely clogged around every 2 months and I'm sick of it. I have been looking for a sulfate free, non-sheading, repairs split ends, cruelty free, hair shine and is under $35.00 so far, I have found nothing. This is my last resort to find what I'm looking for. If it helps with anything I have 2a or 2b hair, I live in a high UV index and dry area, I have thick-ish hair, I have low density ( would like to improve that) and I'm under 20 years of age. submitted by /u/Klutzy-Event3918 [link] [comments]
- Help with keeping hair looking nice and clean for up to 3 to 4 daysHello! I need help seeking products that can help to make my hair look good and clean after 3 to 4 days without washing it. I used to be the type to wash my hair everyday, but life has been so busy and being a salary woman in my business has not been a breeze. I need a quick fix in case I forget or don't have time to wash and dry my hair, sometimes it can be many days in a row (but I always wash it at least twice a week). It is prone to getting greasy and I have a lot of hair. It's brown and otherwise healthy. Thank you guys so much!!!! Any other products not for hair to freshen me up are also welcomed! submitted by /u/some-numbers [link] [comments]
