What hair colour? Wanted to go younger and thinner but didn’t work out.
Our take

| I've never been a fan of having my picture taken (never felt pretty enough to be comfortable with it), so the images are probably not that good. I HAVE been a fan of changing the colour of my hair though. Usually, I go back to being blonde. Last summer I was blonde, got some pink going (no pictures of me with that), and then went copper. As fall faded I started going blonder before trying silver grey over new years. Currently, I am very light faded blonde. I have a new job starting soon (brand manager for a beauty wholesaler) and am considering my next haircolour. The images are in a timeline, first from 2019 (hair half brushed dry before a hair dye) and the most recent is recent. Should I go darker, lighter, keep it? I would love to have the curly hair I have going at one point, but it's so time consuming and I have a job, home and child to take care of. [link] [comments] |

- Shall I keep the blonde or go back natural? For the past year and a half, I have been bleaching my hair regularly every 4/5 months. I am due to get it done again as it has grown out but I’m unsure if I should go back to my natural colour instead. I (24 F) have been yo-yoing between some form of blonde and my natural colour since I was 13. I always seem to get the blonde itch once I finally get my hair healthy again. The money and maintenance isn’t really an issue, however, I’ve always not had the best experience when getting Ballyage/highlights,etc and have always ended up with stripey, orange, or uneven hair resulting in having to go back two or three times to get it fixed. I’ve also been to about three different hairdressers at this point. I don’t know if I’m just picky, but whenever I post on Reddit people seem to agree with me. Maybe I just have bad luck with hairdressers. Anyway, I have tried to include lots of photos with my hair naturally dried versus styled and with with different haircuts so you can get an overall picture. FYI in some of the photos I have my eyebrows natural, and in others lightened as I felt that looked softer with the blonde. I feel like with both blonde and brown my hair sometimes looks good and sometimes not so good. For reference, I also have finer hair so either way it usually looks a little bit flat. Do you think I suit the blonde or dark better? submitted by /u/Independent_Walrus10 [link] [comments]
- Brown or pink hair?Hello! I need a hair color advice. 🥹🙏 The LEFT picture is me now and the RIGHT me at 19 years (4 years ago). I have my natural hair color at the moment, because everyone suggested I would look the best like this. Over the years, I’ve had almost all colors in my hair… and yet I still felt unhappy with myself. I am still ‘crying’ and ‘mourning’ over my pink hair phase, because it was the only period of my life when I felt truly confident. It’s been 4 years and I haven’t gone back to that color, because of my job (I own a business in education in Eastern Europe and the parents are very judgy. I feel like I’d ruin my public image and they’d stop buying my products). I dont like the conventional hair color I have at the moment (my natural one), because I don’t feel like myself. At the same time, I wouldn’t go back to half pink half purple, because it is too much. I would like to perhaps try a lighter pink, without any other colors. In your opinion, since you’re seeing me for the first time and you are objective, which color suits me the best? My natural one (left) or should I try a light pink (like the one on the right, but without the purple)? I would truly appreciate your input. Thank you! submitted by /u/Big-Camp5806 [link] [comments]
- HELP Blonde or BrunetteHey guys!! I have highlighted my hair for the past 6 years but recently got the urge to dye my hair back to its natural color. I’m really unsure what I’ll even look like with brown hair as my face has changed so much since my natural hair era as I was 18! Please let me know what you guys think! The first two photos are with my natural hair and the last three are with my highlights. I’ve kept my hair the same for so long now, and so this feels like a major change for me! submitted by /u/atthheennaa [link] [comments]
- I can’t decide which hair color suits me betterUntil about three years ago I used to dye my hair blonde, but unfortunately I can’t find any other decent photos of it (😂). I just can’t decide which hair color would suit me best. This blonde (even though it had already grown out here) washed me out, it didn’t feel like me either. But this very dark brown doesn’t feel right either — many times I feel like it ages me or just makes me look a bit dull. I’ve been thinking about trying a teddy blonde too, with just some lighter brown pieces added. I really don’t know. submitted by /u/felhocskee [link] [comments]
