Which IPL device Works Best?

Our take

Navigating the world of IPL devices can be tricky, especially with medium-dark skin and coarse black hair. You're weighing options between the Ulike Air 10 and Braun 5, while Silk’n is out of your budget. Your main focus is on targeting bikini and thigh areas to combat shaving and pesky ingrown hairs. With a desire for smoothness that could rival a dolphin, it's crucial to consider effectiveness while avoiding hyperpigmentation. Let's break down the differences and find the best solution for your hair removal needs.

I have medium-dark skin (maybe slightly lighter than a paper bag) and coarse black hair. Trying to decide between Ulike Air 10 (is there any difference between the 10 and the 4?)and braun 5. I've heard Silk'n is a great option for darker skin but it's not in my price range. I'm trying to target bikini/pubic hair the most because I despise shaving it. Also targeting my thighs because the area has an egregious amount of ingrowns I can't get rid of. I want to be smooth enough to be mistaken for a dolphin on a warm summer's eve. I'm scared of hyperpigmentation, also I do not care about how often I have to do it, whatever is fastest. HELP!
