Why does makeup always look so bad on me?
Our take
Are you feeling like your makeup game is more "oops" than "wow"? You're not alone! Many makeup newbies experience that moment of relief when washing off their makeup, especially when bare skin feels like a breath of fresh air. With your lovely features—fuller face, large round eyes, and olive skin—you might just need a few tweaks to enhance your natural beauty. Let's dive into understanding how to harmonize your makeup choices with your unique features, so you can strut confidently in your glam moments!
I'm new to makeup and I can't help but feel relieved every time I wash my face and take off the makeup because at this point literally even my bare face looks better.
I'm not sure why.
- I wear concealer on dark spots of my face as well as high planes (cheekbones, nose)
- I do a black (not too thick) winged eyeliner and i also do this eyeliner on the outer 1/3 of my lower lash line
- I wear mascara, under eye pink blush, lip-liner and a pink lip
My features: I have sort of a fuller face, large round eyes, a medium sized nose, small but full lips and I'm light-medium olive skinned with brown curly hair. In case that helps with harmonizing or anything

Even when I apply subtle makeup, it still looks very obvious on my face. Can anyone tell me why makeup doesn’t seem to suit me? Kindly Reply 🤗 submitted by /u/CommonEducational218 [link] [comments]
