Road trip through Dolomites and Swiss Alps
My friend and I are doing a road trip in June from Venice to Milan with a rental going through the dolomites and Swiss Alps, taking around 8-9 days. I tried to use chatg to help with trip planning but it pretty much said it was impossible and really hard to push it in that short of a time.
I understand that it's a lot of driving but we both enjoy driving and the scenic drives would make us very excited. We're used to driving long hours in Texas, so this doesn't seem too bad but I haven't seen lots of info online about others doing similar road trips.
I guess I'm trying to see if it's possible, what are some recommendations and tips people have. Our goal is to drive to some cool hikes and lakes and do daily hikes and sleep in airbnbs or hotels in between, new accomodation every night.
Most recommendations say to take one city as a base and explore from there but since we're doing a drive through the region, this made the most sense.
We hope to receive some good advice and for someone to make us feel like it's doable lol (we do have a bit of anxiety that it's not possible). We're young though and feel this would be a great trip!
Any advice or comments are welcome!
