Very weird : flight date changed on peach air
This is a weird thing that happened to me on peach air and I wanted to know if anyone had this experience.
I booked a flight in December for April 23 between two destinations in Japan. The flight was confirmed but i received a month later a warning that my flights would be 15 minutes early. No big deal.
However in march I received a new mail telling me that my flight modification request for the 22 was confirmed. Obviously I never asked for a flight change and I did not really pay attention to the content of the mail (and the date of course) and thought it was just a reminder and the hour change.
Come the 22 April I’m checking my mail for checking procedure for the next day, I realise now that the departure date is the 22 (and the flight has already left so no change or cancellation possible)
Contact the Peach support line and they tell me that i indeed requested the change on the website and all they can do is cancel post flight and get a partial refund. Was able to book the original flight for the 23rd. I was confirmed by the airline company as no show in case anyone wonder it might have been a stolen identity.
Also changed my account password just in case.
It’s not about the money as the flight was not expensive but more about the stress generated and wanted to know if anyone had ever faced this issue (flight date changed without going to the air company website)?
I will of course contact the support by mail later on to check if they can confirm the IP that was connected to the website when the change request was made.
