Traveling

I'm doing an extended trip, a couple months in the UK. Outside of shooting, which I intend to do a lot, I'd love to meet up with people to talk photos, take photos, etc.

Does anyone have recommendations on things I might look for, groups or individuals, resources to find photographers or models, etc? I'm open to classes or conferences as well.

Specific locations Wales and Suffolk.

I'm also curious to hear if you do this when you travel, and what tips you might have to make it work best.
