Travelling from Lake Atitlan (Jaibalito) to Guatemala City for a 2pm Flight. Feasible?

I'll be staying at La Casa del Mundo in Jaibalito and want to leave in the morning and head to Guatemala City for a 2 pm flight to the US.

I've gotten conflicting info on how long the drive actually takes from Panajachel to Guatemala City, and have also seen stuff online about crazy traffic, road blockages, and late shuttles.

So, is it possible to have this travel day and comfortably make it to the flight? I'm open to any modes of transportation. And if you don't think it's possible, what would you recommend instead?
