Eyelashes falling out
Our take
Struggling with eyelash loss can be both frustrating and concerning, especially when it seems to target just one eye. In this post, the user shares their experience of noticing hair loss on their right eye's eyelashes over the past year, culminating in a noticeable bold patch. Despite pausing on curling and mascara for over a month, the issue resurfaced after resuming these beauty rituals using various products, including the Shiseido lash curler.

| Hi, I have been struggling with hair loss on my eyelashes. This all started a year ago when I began to notice it on my right eye, and eventually one day there was an entire bold patch. After this I didn’t curl or wear mascara for a month+, but now, almost a year later, the same thing is happening. I curl and wear mascara pretty much everyday, I use the Shiseido lash curler and have been using different mascaras (both waterproof and non waterproof). I don’t know what’s causing this and how to fix it especially since it is only on my right eye, so any help would be much appreciated! [link] [comments] |

- Babelash Side Effects (HELP)My lashes are of below average thickness and average length, and I used to over-curl them a lot for years until they finally started falling out. I used took time off from both mascara and curling (ultimately stopping curling altogether) to allow them to regrow. Once they did, I believe I got back into curling them briefly and made the same mistake again. After this time, I was done done for good with curling. I began using a lash serum (babelash prostaglandin free) in hopes of speeding up the regrowth process. It worked wonderfully, and I eventually stopped using it or used it more sporadically when I was happy with the length. However, I have noticed cycles of significant shedding every couple of months while using the serum consistently. Every time it happens, my lashes are left looking thin and patchy, and I am forced to stop using mascara altogether. How can I avoid this annoying cycle? Going cold turkey once they regrow again? Any other lash serum suggestions that don’t have this cyclical and very damaging shedding? It’s a real confidence killer and makes me feel very unfeminine. :( submitted by /u/i_am_iron_man25 [link] [comments]
- What product do you use to maintain/grow Asian lashesI have been using the cosnori lash serum since November. It worked really well for the first month but it started going downhill from February. I lost 3-6 lashes PER clip PER lash when curling my eyes now but I feel so ugly without doing it lmao. What should I do to prevent this?? Might stop using the serum as a first step because nothing else has changed in my routine and I only ever use gentle mascara submitted by /u/ash1eywong [link] [comments]
- Eyelashes growing in different directions? My eyelashes tend to grow in different directions. This drives me crazy because they either bunch together/get tangled and feel heavy, or stab me in the eye. I’m prone to getting styes and ingrown lashes (once on the inside of my lower lid that had to be removed by an ophthalmologist). Is there anything I can do to make them more cooperative? They don’t respond well to an eyelash curler, and they just kind of clump together if I use mascara. I am cosmetics naive but willing to try anything, please help. submitted by /u/Oceanworm88 [link] [comments]
- What can i do to make my lashes look better? They straighten suuper easy and are short. Is sticking false lashes on my only hope?i spend soo much time curling them but they seem to straighten almost right after drying, even tho i curl them like 20 seconds in different spots, add mascara both over and under, hold them up while they dry.. i use lash sensational mascara from maybelline. i dont rly wanna use lash serum cuz i often dont have the energy to wash my face if i dont have any makeup on (depression) so i dont want it being there for too long.. also i used to have extra long lashes in the outer eye corner which i absolutely loved snd they broke from curlinf them ughhhh submitted by /u/ThisOneRedditTem [link] [comments]
