I’ve suddenly lost a lot of eyelashes, and I don’t know why
Our take
Hey there! It sounds like you’re dealing with some unexpected eyelash drama, and we’ve all been there. You’ve noticed that your once fabulous lashes have turned into a much shorter, uneven situation, despite taking a break from makeup. It’s puzzling, especially since you’ve experienced longer lashes in the past during similar makeup-free phases. Let’s dive into the possible causes of this lash loss and explore some solutions to help you restore that glamorous fringe. Any insights from fellow beauty enthusiasts would be super helpful!
Hi! Some days ago I noticed that my lashes have become very uneven, as most of my lashes are much shorter than usual. For the past months I have not been doing my makeup often, so I know I’m not loosing them due to pulling them with and eyelash curler. Before when I have not worn makeup often my lashes ended up even longer than usual, and they’re usually very long. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be the cause, and how I could fix it? I have had problems with lash loss before, but that was due to using eyelash curlers too much

- Eyelashes falling outHi, I have been struggling with hair loss on my eyelashes. This all started a year ago when I began to notice it on my right eye, and eventually one day there was an entire bold patch. After this I didn’t curl or wear mascara for a month+, but now, almost a year later, the same thing is happening. I curl and wear mascara pretty much everyday, I use the Shiseido lash curler and have been using different mascaras (both waterproof and non waterproof). I don’t know what’s causing this and how to fix it especially since it is only on my right eye, so any help would be much appreciated! submitted by /u/Ok-Estimate-3346 [link] [comments]
- Eyelashes Accidentally CutWould you pluck a few random lashes to speed up the regrowth process(definitely wont pluck them all) or would plucking cause them to grow back slower, just let them shed naturally? I only just noticed this today and I don’t know how long it’s been like this. I can only assume this happened from my eyelash curler. submitted by /u/mesumoo [link] [comments]

- Eyelashes have not returned, it’s been 3 years! One thing I always liked about myself no matter what were my eyelashes, they were so naturally long and curly. I was pregnant and going on holidays with my toddler, and my friend recommended eyelash extensions. Said it would look like I was wearing makeup when I wouldn’t have time to do it. They were gorgeous, but I got conjunctivitis the next day probably from my toddler and then didn’t realise how annoying they would be when they were growing out. I wasn’t given any aftercare instructions so without realising I shouldn’t, I pulled them off as the extensions grew out and loosened. I ended up with shorter natural lashes after this but thought would be fine as they’d grow back. But it’s been 3 years now and they have still not returned to their former glory. Does anyone know why they wouldn’t grow back to their former length? And does anyone know how I can get them to grow back to their former long length?? Please help :( submitted by /u/Specialist_Door_7965 [link] [comments]
