Is washing ur hair everyday actually bad?
Our take
Is washing your hair every day actually bad? This question often stirs up debate, especially for those like you who naturally produce more oil. While daily washing can keep greasy locks at bay, it may also strip your scalp of essential oils, potentially leading to increased oil production. However, if your hair remains healthy and shiny, you might not be experiencing any damage. Let's explore the science behind hair washing, oil production, and whether it's time to rethink your routine or embrace your daily wash.
So I’ve been washing my hair every day for about 2 years now, I naturally produce a lot of oil everywhere , my hair gets greasy very quick and if I do go a day without it’s SO greasy, is it a myth washing ur hair everyday is bad? Or can I continue and be fine? Is the reason my hair is greasy so often because I wash it everyday or is it just because I produce a lot of oil? My hair is healthy and shiny so I’m not noticing damage. *im also a teenager so that makes me produce even more oil*
