Just got a led mask. What are your recommendable serums to use after a session?
Our take
Okay, I've started the RLT. My mask arrived last week, and I've been using it pretty much every other night.
I'm really enjoying it so far. It's surprisingly comfy and nice way to chill out. My main goals are tackling general signs of aging and hopefully see results. My question is, what's the move right after a session? I feel like my skin just drinks up whatever I put on it, and I don't want to waste that opportunity. Right now, I’m just using a simple hyaluronic acid serum and my usual moisturizer.
I'd love to know what products you feel really maximize the effects of the red light. Are you using peptides, antioxidants like Vitamin C (at a different time of day, I assume?), or something else?

- What's the next step after LED + microcurrent for forehead line?Hi guys! I’m in my late 30's and my main concern is a single forehead line. I’m currently using a red light therapy mask, microcurrent, and retinol (planning to switch to retinal soon), and I’m consistent with sunscreen. I’m wondering what would be the most effective next step—would something like RF or silicone patches make a noticeable difference, or should I just stick with my current routine? Would really appreciate hearing what worked for others! submitted by /u/Water_Sprout_3030 [link] [comments]
- For anyone that has an LED light skincare mask, do you find it made a difference for you?Super curious about these LED light masks as I see a ton of influencers use them now and I’ve seen some say the mask worked to help wrinkles, skin ‘glowiness’ and acne. Others say it didn’t make a difference for them. If you have one, do you find it to be a worthy purchase? Which brand did you buy? submitted by /u/truecrimelavender [link] [comments]
- How to give myself a facialI had an amazing facial done in Vietnam last year and my skin was literally glowing. I had a facial analysis and it told me I was suffering from dehydration and also blocked pores, I opened for a deep cleansing one with blackhead removal and the a hydrating one which I'm pretty sure involved some kinda blue or red light. Of course it's never gonna be exactly the same but any advice on products would be amazing ! I'm looking for some kind of weekly exfoliant, a hydrating mask and maybe some kind of extra product like retinol or something any advice would be amazing ! For skincare I usually buy within the mid price range like La Roche posay, I currently use snail musin followed by cicaplast and it's one of the few combos that works for me and has done for a long time. My face wash is currently senka perfect whip. I find this combo is fine for me day to day id just like to incorporate a more focused weekly facial. (I'm based in the uk so something accessible here would be amazing) Thanks in advance ! submitted by /u/Recent-Camel-5848 [link] [comments]
- what skincare (serums & ingredients) are people using these days?I got into skincare when I was in my early 20s, maybe ~5 years ago, and have had a pretty consistent routine over that time with some or all of the following ingredients (obviously not all at the same time): - hyaluronic acid - niacinamide - vitamin c - SPF (obviously!) - glycolic acid - lactic acid - azelaic acid - salicylic acid - retinol/retinal Obviously when I stated out I did a lot of research and eventually settled on a routine with the above but now I see so many different products (eg just by The Ordinary) whose names/ingredients I don’t recognise! eg PDRN, volufiline As the title says, are there any big players now that are really useful, effective, popular? That I ought to look into? I fear I’ve missed out on developments in the skincare world and now may be missing some things that would be good to introduce (or replace any of the above)! submitted by /u/NoMix1064 [link] [comments]
