Lash Clusters Not Working
Our take
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I love the strip lashes but just don’t have time to do them in the mornings so I tried lash clusters and I really like them but man after ONE showers they’re coming off!! I don’t rub my eyes, I’ve tried different lash adhesives like Venus Goddess and Lily Lash that were both pretty highly recommended, I tried a different brand of lash clusters, I’ve cleansed my eyes (eyelids) before applying. I’ve placed them slightly above my natural lash line like everyone said, including the instructions, I just don’t know what else I can do because the most I got them to last was 5 days and I still had to do touch ups to the inner corners

- Embracing my natural lashes after 2 years of clusters lashes. Is it worth it?I started wearing lash clusters back in 2024 and hadn’t ever taken longer than a week break until today. They made me feel so extremely pretty and whenever I would even take a one to two day break I noticed I would constantly tear myself down and find myself rushing to put them back on. I recently noticed this past weekend that when I had them off for three full days I felt absolutely disgusting and realized that me wearing lash clusters was not only a way to feel pretty but a constant assurance towards my self esteem and appearance. I want to embrace my natural lashes and beauty and not be so insecure when having a day off from clusters that i ultimately decided I shouldn’t wear them anymore. I also noticed that my eyes started to itch so bad these past few months with a lot of redness and I took that as a sign to leave lash clusters in the past. Plus I have severe allergies that make my eyes really itchy everyday. I want to start growing my lashes out with a lash serum and wearing mascara after I give my eyelashes a much needed break lol. Is it worth switching from clusters to normal lashes? And am I crazy for having this big of a breakdown over something I would consider to not be a big deal? Also if you guys have any suggestions for growth, mascara for straight eyelashes, or tips in general regrading my eyelashes that desperately need a break it would be much appreciated! submitted by /u/No_Beautiful2675 [link] [comments]
- has anyone successfully made their lashes thicker/longer?Hi, i have naturally downturned, straight, short, thin lashes… i use to get a lash lift but it honestly never did much…. i tried lash extensions years ago and didn’t know there was different kinds aka clusters vs singles.. i had clusters they were WAY to heavy for my eyes and completely ruined my lashes when i asked them to remove them after 2 weeks instead of doing a refill… my lashes “grew back” as in they were still the short straight lashes i knew. I’ve tried grande lash but it was making my eyes red so i stopped before i could see results. My friend uses this tho and her lashes grew soooo long and pretty! I’m just worried because i have binocular vision dysfunction and I don’t know if it would mess with that! Recently in the past month i’ve gone back for extensions after YEARS of trying random serums from walmart.. or even a castor oil recommendation from my esthetician. nothing has done ANYTHING i’ve gotten my single lash extensions refilled once so far… but tbh it’s not even the money that’s the issue it’s more so time consuming and how often they get sparse!! sitting in a chair with my eyes closed for almost 3 hours every 2 weeks for $70. I’m also very worried about my nature lashes being completely ruined. I follow the care instructions but i can’t help but wish my natural lashes were thick and long!! before the extensions i have now i can curl them good with a curler as they are and add water proof mascara but they still just look stubby!! any recommendations? submitted by /u/MysticForestCat [link] [comments]
- Asian lashes that when they get wet = stick straight. Are at home lash lifts safe? With lash clusters too?Hi! I have straight downwards pointing Asian lashes and I love my lash clusters. They look really good at first, but when they get wet, the curl almost completely disappears and they end up super droopy. Even when I curl them before & afterwards with my Shiseido lash curler they still end up droopy after washing my face/cleaning them, even tho I'm curling them well, and when they do end up slightly curled they droop really quick. They always end up covering my eyes a bit and just ngl a bad look cus they're so unlifted and it already takes me like an hour to put them on </3 So I was thinking about lash lifts maybe like every ~8 weeks ... but I've seen SO much people online talk about how DIY-ing them at home can be extremely harmful with the fumes. And since our eyes are so important it's got me second-guessing if I'd really want to do it. I don't really have anyone to help me with them, so I'd have to do it myself and I can't afford a professional lash lift. But oh man would my clusters look & feel so much better with lashes that maintain a curl.... I'd appreciate any advice... :"D submitted by /u/datavroom [link] [comments]
