Need help making cluster lashes and strip lashes look natural as a beginner
Our take
I’ve been trying to get into false lashes, both clusters and full strips, but I swear it feels like a gamble every time. Sometimes they sit perfectly and look super natural, and other times they’re crooked, lifting at the ends, or just straight up fighting for their life on my eyelids. I’m still a beginner, so I’m trying to figure out what actually works instead of spending 20 minutes fixing the same corner.
The glue timing is what confuses me the most. I never know when it’s “tacky enough.” If I put the lash on too soon, it slides around. If I wait longer, the glue is already half dry and won’t stick. I’m also not sure how much glue people actually use to make it hold without wasting time.
If anyone has a routine or little tricks that make the whole process faster and more reliable, especially for getting a natural look, I’d love to hear what’s worked for you. I just want to be able to put them on without feeling like I’m doing a mini boss fight every morning.

- Lash Clusters Not WorkingI don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I love the strip lashes but just don’t have time to do them in the mornings so I tried lash clusters and I really like them but man after ONE showers they’re coming off!! I don’t rub my eyes, I’ve tried different lash adhesives like Venus Goddess and Lily Lash that were both pretty highly recommended, I tried a different brand of lash clusters, I’ve cleansed my eyes (eyelids) before applying. I’ve placed them slightly above my natural lash line like everyone said, including the instructions, I just don’t know what else I can do because the most I got them to last was 5 days and I still had to do touch ups to the inner corners submitted by /u/anonymousperson_3333 [link] [comments]

- Best affordable fake eyelashes + glue recommendations?Hey! I’m looking for good quality false eyelashes that are still affordable. I don’t want anything too expensive, but I also don’t want them to look cheap or fall apart after one use. For reference, I prefer natural style. Also, what eyelash glue do you recommend that actually holds well but is still easy to remove? Any recommendations or brands you swear by? Thank you. submitted by /u/whiteforestfox [link] [comments]
- Asian lashes that when they get wet = stick straight. Are at home lash lifts safe? With lash clusters too?Hi! I have straight downwards pointing Asian lashes and I love my lash clusters. They look really good at first, but when they get wet, the curl almost completely disappears and they end up super droopy. Even when I curl them before & afterwards with my Shiseido lash curler they still end up droopy after washing my face/cleaning them, even tho I'm curling them well, and when they do end up slightly curled they droop really quick. They always end up covering my eyes a bit and just ngl a bad look cus they're so unlifted and it already takes me like an hour to put them on </3 So I was thinking about lash lifts maybe like every ~8 weeks ... but I've seen SO much people online talk about how DIY-ing them at home can be extremely harmful with the fumes. And since our eyes are so important it's got me second-guessing if I'd really want to do it. I don't really have anyone to help me with them, so I'd have to do it myself and I can't afford a professional lash lift. But oh man would my clusters look & feel so much better with lashes that maintain a curl.... I'd appreciate any advice... :"D submitted by /u/datavroom [link] [comments]
