strawberry legs/shaving tips

Our take

Strawberry legs can be a frustrating beauty concern, especially for those of us with fair skin who notice speckling after shaving. Growing up using only an epilator and Nair, I often embraced my hairy legs. However, as an adult, I’ve discovered the confidence that comes from smooth thighs and a well-groomed appearance. With a weekly shaving routine, dry brushing, and a careful approach to skincare—especially considering my chronic hives—I've learned the importance of the right techniques and products.

I grew up only using an epilator and nair. Even then, I just had hairy legs 90% of the time because I didn't care.

As an adult I realized I feel much better with smooth legs (thighs and all). I have fair skin + often appear speckled after shaving. Similar, but different, i have lil blood spot/freckles on my arms and chest as well that isnt a hair issue. My legs are super smooth after shaving, and then a a day or two later are prickly.

Some info on my routines: I shave once a week, sometimes twice a week.

This plus stretch marks and constant bruising, I am so self conscious about my legs. I do use a dry brush twice a week and ocassionally the versed buff it out aha exfoliator. I have to be mindful because i have chronic hives (to the point of needing injections). I also change out the blades of my Billie razor every 10 or so uses and use a shaving oil.

Any advice would be appreciated!
