Please help. How do I get rid of ingrown hairs
Our take
Hey there! If you’re wrestling with a serious ingrown hair situation on your legs, you’re definitely not alone. It sounds like waxing has become more of a hassle than a treat, and taking a break was a smart move. Laser treatments could be a game-changer, but it’s understandable to have concerns about potential ingrowns. The good news? There are plenty of tips and tricks out there to help you tackle those pesky hairs.

| hello! I don’t know if this is the right place to ask but I really need help I have a LOT of ingrown hairs on my legs to the point it’s getting very irritating. so I usually get waxed one a month but recently the waxing has been getting harder and harder to do cause of how many Ingrowns I’ve got, so I’ve stoped for about two moths to try and get rid of the ingrowns. but no matter what I do i cant seem to get rid of them. I was thinking of getting a laser treatment but Im not sure if it’s Worthing since I see that laser causes ingrowns a lot more than waxing. i really need help so if anyone has any advise I would be very thankfu! - Ingrown hair helpHello! I started waxing my leg hair with roll on wax for a few months, but i started noticing a lot of ingrowns. I exfoliate twice every week by default with salt scrubs and exfoliating gloves, and usually Wax the day after when i start to notice some growth, and after i use hydrating cream and coconut oil. Unfortunately Laser hair removal is out of the picture, since my hair are quite light. I'm quite scared to use chemical exfoliators because I have really sensitive skin, but if it might help my problem, i might try. Also, sorry for bad english, and thanks in advance for the help! submitted by /u/Canliure [link] [comments]
- Horrid influx of ingrown hair post waxinghi! f18 here, just like the title says, i got waxed after around 4/5 ish months last month, and my previous waxing exp was also really bad- led to bumpy hair in my calves area, and ingorwn hair in my inner thighs, but this time it was actually SO bad, i have bumpy hair growing all over my legs and my inner thighs now have spots from previous ingrown hair and more just seem to keep coming, in my arms theres nothing wrong but i also have 2 hairs coming from one area in y legs and pits. This has absolutely broken any sense of comfort i had in my body i feel so disgusting and ugly, but i dont know how to get rid of them, theres no set 'cleansing routine' i follow pre and post waxing because ever since i started, which was like 3rd grade, this has never happened. is it my doing? am i going to the wrong waxing people? should i try epillating instead? (i do it for my face usually), or shaving? (never tried thinking hair would come out rough. i could really use any advice on how i can get rid of these spots, ingrown and bumpy hair, and the 2 hair in one sithc, please. submitted by /u/curiouscaterpillar44 [link] [comments]
