hair removal methods
Our take
Are you tired of the relentless cycle of shaving and dealing with pesky ingrown hairs? You’re not alone! Many are exploring alternatives like hair removal oils, at-home laser treatments, and newer products similar to Nair, but skepticism is understandable. I’ve been in the game long enough to know that the search for a longer-lasting, smooth solution can feel overwhelming. I’ve used razors all my life and am eager to discover methods that not only keep me stubble-free but also boost my confidence in swimwear.
Why is your favorite hair removal method? Im seeing ads for hair removal oil (which im super skeptical about and don’t plan on using unless someone has a personal success story), at home laser removal, and new products similar to nair. I’ve been interested in laser removal for years but haven’t been able to make it work financially. I’ve been using razors my whole life. I want to find a method that stays smooth for longer and reduces ingrowns / bumps. I’m tired of shaving and being stubbly again 12 hours later and my bikini line makes me feel a tad insecure in swimming suits. Give me your secrets 😽

- At home IPL reccomandationsI’m considering purchasing an at home IPL machine but am a little skeptical and the price point is quite high so I’m looking for any recommendations and just general reviews before I purchase. I’ve never had any sort of laser hair removal done but see it as my last resort. My bikini line and armpits especially have given me a number of issues for all other types of hair removal I have tried (shaving, waxing, sugaring, nair, trimming) Ingrowns, razor bumps, really all the issues despite investing time into skin and hair care exfoliating often and using things like glycolic acid. I am pretty insecure about my bikini line when I go swimming, and need a new solution to prevent these issues, as well as scarring. I would say my hair is pretty coarse and it grows back quite quickly. I have pretty fair skin that tans but very dark hair so I dont think that would be an issue. I’m looking for balance between a relatively affordable option, but also a machine that will produce good results. I’m not very worried about pain or how large of a space the area can treat at once, but am looking for results and as little hair as possible. If anyone could share their recommendations and experience that would be great! submitted by /u/smokey22_ [link] [comments]

I'm blonde of you say laser I'm ignoring you, not everyone gets to enjoy laser. currently I shower nightly and use a men's body wash and am considering changing products so any advice is welcome submitted by /u/TrashBussy [link] [comments]

- strawberry legs/shaving tipsI grew up only using an epilator and nair. Even then, I just had hairy legs 90% of the time because I didn't care. As an adult I realized I feel much better with smooth legs (thighs and all). I have fair skin + often appear speckled after shaving. Similar, but different, i have lil blood spot/freckles on my arms and chest as well that isnt a hair issue. My legs are super smooth after shaving, and then a a day or two later are prickly. Some info on my routines: I shave once a week, sometimes twice a week. This plus stretch marks and constant bruising, I am so self conscious about my legs. I do use a dry brush twice a week and ocassionally the versed buff it out aha exfoliator. I have to be mindful because i have chronic hives (to the point of needing injections). I also change out the blades of my Billie razor every 10 or so uses and use a shaving oil. Any advice would be appreciated! submitted by /u/genuinebean325 [link] [comments]
